Hi, I'm Serena!
My story starts in the desert, back in 2001 at my very first Coachella. Rage Against the Machine was headlining, and I thought I was ready for the weekend of a lifetime. Spoiler: I wasn't.
Within minutes, I lost my friends, the wind kicked up, and I realized I had nothing on me but a pair of shorts and wedge sandals. Who wears wedges to a festival? Apparently, I did. Zero layers, no essentials, and definitely no backup plan.
But here's the thing: I knew I couldn't have been the only girl who showed up thinking she had it all together. I found out the hard way that festivals are a whole different world.
That experience lit a fire in me. I didn't want anyone else to learn the hard way. So I built a business around preparation, comfort, safety, and style--all in one.
